Silky-smooth and full-bodied. This wine is quite a charmer, caressing the palate and lifting your spirits in an instant. Red berries and chocolate, along with notes of finely roasted wood, combine to form the elegant structure of this wine, maintaining presence, but with grace and subtlety. This fine blend benefits tremendously when allowed to breathe properly before drinking – only once enough "respiration" has occurred will it truly come to life!
Pairings: Spaghetti al Ragú, cheese board, meat dishes of all kinds
Storage potential: 5-7 years (can be significantly longer under ideal conditions)
A nice combination of South American wine taste
My preference is the Intipalka, a Peruvian red wine that will perfectly be married with a piece of redmeat or some Roquefort.
