Like a gun with a silencer! This Petit Verdot delivers exactly the impact enthusiasts of this rare grape expect, but does this in in a remarkably refined manner. The nose is reminiscent of a walk in the woods: notes of damp forest soil and wet wood, carried by dark wild berries. Also present is distinct leathery aroma which would remind a shoemaker of his work. The mouthfeel is juicy, with a basket of dark berries which burst on the palate. Its angular tannins promise good aging potential and demand being paired with hearty foods.
Pairings: As if designed for the consumption of red meat. Particularly wonderful with grilled dishes
Storage potential: 7-9 years (can be significantly longer under ideal conditions)
